Whom shall I send?

Whom shall I send?

The past week in Honduras with our medical mission team, comprised of true Christians all working together in love to help others, was life changing.  Words will never truly explain the deep emotions felt.  We reached through God’s love to do our best, leaving with the knowledge that much more can be done.  World Gospel Outreach vision statement is: “Impacting the faith of Christ followers through serving and evangelizing children and the poor.”  Realizing how poverty does not keep Honduran people from smiling and being truly grateful, they gifted me with unending thankfulness.  It was a privilege to be a part of their lives, if only for a short time.  Whether our team was working with the dentist, doctors, pharmacy, Honduran church members, translators, or the beautiful, appreciative children, our hearts grew by being a part of this mission team.  I will forever be blessed by new friendships, love and a desire to do more for others.  The North American team Starfish is strong.  I thank our team, as much as the Honduran people, for shining God’s light into my life this past week!

Thank you to my extended family and friends for your support of my immediate family.  Claire and I will forever cherish this experience, allowing us to grow in His light!

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”  And I said, “Here am I.  Send me!”  Isaiah 6:8
