Memorial at Truman State University

Truman State University Memorial for Connor on Wednesday was beautiful! It took place under the stars at the eternal flame, with his friends, Fraternity brothers, ROTC, President of Truman, staff, family and Mayor of Kirksville surrounded by those that knew and loved him!

Thank you to the Color Guard, True Men A Cappella, Pi Kappa Phi – Truman State and the President’s Strong Quartet. The Quartet played “Somewhere over the Rainbow” and was perfect for our “rainbow boy”.

We loved the Connor stories, including “Combat Barbie”, the solo “Stay with me”, his exploring adventures and knowing that he had reached out to so many in such a short time. Our family visited Thousand Hills State Park where Connor and I enjoyed a bonfire, hiked, star gazed and talked into the wee hours of the morning just two short weeks ago.

Our hearts are full and we are surely blessed!
