Sustenance…
Today I saw the names of scholar athletes and outstanding students in the news. Last weekend social media flowed with beautiful photos of proms in the area. There are many award ceremonies and graduations this month. All wonderful reasons to celebrate life. Yesterday, I was reminded that not everyone witnesses their children living the life they imagined.
Holding a baby for the first time, we are most likely overwhelmed with love. I believe all parents wish for their children, happiness, success, and health. They hope for a life filled with blessings. These parents raised their children with the same love and dedication as you. There were circumstances that altered the course of their lives. They may live each day with the hope of a better tomorrow.
God is in the business of giving strength to those who have none. He loves to sustain those who are fainting and give life to those who feel completely depleted. Wait for the Lord and He will give you life. He has promised to renew your strength even though you don’t feel it now. He has good things in store for you.
Please make time to give thanks and lift all families up in prayer. Remember that battles are being faced by good people. They have memories of their beautiful children that have or are, enduring drugs, alcohol, depression, anxiety, or illness. We all have a story. Reach out and help hold one another up, as we celebrate this life together.
Much love,

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
So beautifully said.
Thank you!
