How strong is your heart?
As the sun rises this day, I received a text from my better half, who is by his Mother’s side along with his brother. She is undergoing open heart surgery this morning. The photo above is of the private waiting room they are in as the operation begins. The room was dedicated by someone in loving memory of their son. The full name includes my father in law’s and our son’s name! They are both in heaven. Chance? I think not.
Do you believe understanding will bring peace? I struggle with this as I find myself trying to understand why? I should instead be looking up, trusting and seeking our maker! This world brings us heartache and pain, so that it is difficult to see the good. At times, we can clearly see and hear peace as it is doled out. I’ve learned that opening my eyes and heart help! As we pray for a successful surgery, our hearts beat strong for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May you wake up with peace and find all that you are grateful for throughout the day!
Peace & Blessings,
MamaC
