Breakthrough

I had no idea what challenges lie ahead for us all. I had no idea how God would show me a portion of trauma that our youngest two had experienced, allowing me the empathy necessary to be their Mother.

The adoption story below was shared in the Spring of 2014, six months prior to our family suffering the tragic, unexpected loss of our first birth child.

Each Spring our children born from our hearts 💗 hit rock bottom as Easter approached. Their past memories this time of year come pouring out with sadness and fear.

This, our fourth year together, we experienced a break through! They both realized they were not leaving us. They smiled, laughed and hugged us all exclaiming how happy they were to be a part of our family. Woo hoo!

Adoption is not easy, there are times of great struggle, but it is times such as these, that make a heart beat strong!

Look for the gifts that God has given through loss. Through new eyes we find strength, growth and purpose.
