Happy Thanksgiving!

Remembering those that have lost loved ones or are struggling on this day of Thanksgiving. This quote by Christopher Robin was always one of my favorites. “If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together…there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart…I’ll always be with you.” -Christopher Robin to Pooh

I  have always thought this quote would be something I would leave for my children. Never did it cross my mind or heart that it could be one of them, that is thought of upon reading it. Giving thanks for the time we have with our loved ones. Reflecting each day on how blessed we truly are!

I have learned that thankfulness takes the bite out of adversity. Faith is understanding that the darkest of days, lead us to the Light of His mercy and grace. Knowing deep despair and helplessness, yet looking up in hope of eternal life. This brings the peace that passeth all understanding.

Today, take time to kneel and give thanks for all that has been gifted to you. Know that nothing can separate you from the deep love of God, through His Son, Jesus Christ. From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
