Sweet are the uses of adversity…
Are you struggling with something daily? Adversity in life either motivates us to overcome, endure or overwhelms us to hide under the covers. We get one chance in this earthly life to make today count. One chance to live life to the max in positive ways. Change is reality. Tomorrow may or may not come. Will you regret today or be grateful? When mistakes are made and grace is given, I have always felt it was God’s way of saying…here is your sweet chance to change. You either listen to this and make a positive move or sink back into unsettled ways.
This life is SO short. Get up and live each day with intention to make a difference. If you have influence in another’s life you have that opportunity every day! Friends and family with illness have been such an inspiration. I am amazed at the strength and faith I see in them. Loss has taught me to be grateful. If death came today would you be facing it without regret? If not, make amends, make a change. Look to give instead of receive and your life will include an abundance of love.
Everyone has a story of adversity in some form or shape. Let it mold you in ways that shine God’s light in darkness, for through Him there is a promise of eternal life. Who you are makes a difference. Your life choices make a difference. It is your choice, everyday…intentionally walk outside, look up and be happy! The rain will clear and the Son will come again…Live, love, pray & shine!
